The golden tears flow in the innocent years of childhood when falling on your knee just doesn't seem fair. The golden years grow on the experienced tears of adulthood when days spent working seem like they were never there.
Many things change when it starts to rain. Life's movements just aren't the same. The world becomes different when it's wet. Foundations shift when they should be set. Many things change when it starts to rain. Ankles, knees and joints forecast the pain. Birds frantically fly to avoid the storm, and then the dark clouds finish their form. Many things change when it starts to rain. Falling water cleans the streets and drains. Air becomes easier and better to breathe. Many people spend this time in their sleep. Many things change when it starts to rain. The ground and all its plants stand to gain. Dry pores of the earth's skin expand and close. Moisture is used in formulas God only knows. Many things change when it starts to rain. Water drops collide on the wings of a plane. Driving, especially at night, takes more time. Tires spin and glide, crossing yellow lines. Many things change when it starts to rain. My Pen
My pen, shiny black in the center, and chrome on both ends, gradually comes to a point. Without it's cap, it looks like a long bullet or a loaded missile, ready to explode on impact. Yet the impact of words written by my pen can have more damaging results than any flurry of bullets or bomb explosion. The written word can stand centuries of repetition, while the explosion happens once and the damage rebuilt. Written bullets can pass through generation after generation piercing many hearts and souls without spilling any blood. The pen is the weapon of my choice.
