The ENA-Musikverlag exists since 1991 and
publishes compositions of JAN PAUL NAGEL.
The wonderful componist died at the age of 63
only some months ago and his wife edits now
his works which were not yet published.
We want to support such an effort
and her friends in Australia wish
ELKE NAGEL a big success.
The ENA-Musikverlag also publishes the work of
HUBERT KROSS and LIANA BERTOK.
JAN PAUL NAGEL plays an important role in bringing
the music of the SORBS to the attention of the world.

The music of Jan Paul Nagel
Because Jan Paul Nagel lived in the eastern part of
Germany he had no possibilities to publish and
make his music known in the western world.
He was restricted in his travelling to the communist
countries and only after the unification of both
Germanies he earned attention in the West and was
recognized as an important contemporary musician.
His works span from dances, sorbian folklore to
sinfonias and opera.
