Eleanor Virginia Randall, 82, of Estes Park, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, at the Prospect Park Living Center. She was born May 11, 1920, in Johnstown, Colo., to Harry Owen Whowell and Ruth T.(Foley) Whowell. She graduated from Denver West High School and from the University of Denver where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business and a bachelor of arts degree in music. She married Carol Randall on Aug. 4, 1955, in Denver, Colo., She worked for Frontier Airlines for 35 years in several positions — selling tickets, as a stewardess and as vice president of revenue before her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Parkview Congregational Church in Aurora, Colo., where she was active in the church choir. Always a student of music, she played piano. She always enjoyed singing and playing piano for family and friends. She was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority and was nominated their Woman of the Year in 1976 and 1977. She was also a member of Aurora Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband Carol Randall, who passed away in 1988, and her parents. Her sister Dottie Wallace of Estes Park survives her. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov.16, 2002, at the Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary in Littleton, Colo.
