Yes, it does appear that is the Ron Ferris we are talking about. The Florida
connection came about as his new wife was from there. Another that came to
mind is Larry Lorz, longtime DEN line mechanic, hired in late 1966 and died
on a form of cancer around 1980, I have no other info, have to rely on
memory. There are also a couple of others, Steve Bruly, maintenance foreman
DEN, 1966-1975 (Approx.) of Leukemia and a fellow named Gary Horning (DEN
Line mechanic) who along with his wife children perished in an auto accident
approx. 1976 while on vacation, I believe in Idaho or Wyoming.
Harry Lehr, Ex-FAL management and recently retired Alaska Air corporate has
moved to Bend, Or. I shall pass your address on to him and invite him to join
up. I would imagine he has some good thoughts on Billy Walkers last days
synopsis. As
would Fred Schuble whom I will also pass on your address as well as Cherie
Haarberg, FAL Maint V.P. and Engineering respectively.
