The MVCN (Miami Valley Community Network) like its predecessor the Dayton Area Free Net (DAFN) is a local public access computer system based in Dayton Ohio, USA. MVCN acts as a local and regional virtual community, providing information on Miami Valley activities and resources as well as access to the wider scope of other internet facilities. These services are provided free of charge, and require only a very basic, inexpensive computer and modem for use.
MVCN, like DAFN, encompasses the many communities of Ohio's Miami Valley, including:
Greater Dayton, Englewood, Fairborn, Vandalia, Centerville, Beavercreek, Clayton, Huber Heights, Kettering, Liberty, Miamisburg, Moraine, Oakwood, Riverside, Shiloh, Trotwood, Union, Vandalia, West Carrollton, Middletown, Xenia, West Milton, Tipp City, Bellbrook, Enon, Yellow Springs, New Lebanon, Germantown, Farmersville, New Carlisle, Franklin, Springboro, Bellbrook, Clifton, Harrison Township, Randolph Township, Butler Township, and more.And MVCN is still growing!
