Welcome to the Miami Valley
Community Network (MVCN)

(MVCN is the present day successor to DAFN, the Dayton Area Free Net)

UPDATE 8/2/2003:
MVCN now has its own formal web page, available at HTTP://WWW.MVCN.DAYTON.OH.US. You should be automatically redirected to the official web address in a few seconds. If you aren't, then please click on the MVCN link here, HTTP://WWW.MVCN.DAYTON.OH.US, instead. Thanks, and enjoy the MVCN!

The MVCN (Miami Valley Community Network) like its predecessor the Dayton Area Free Net (DAFN) is a local public access computer system based in Dayton Ohio, USA. MVCN acts as a local and regional virtual community, providing information on Miami Valley activities and resources as well as access to the wider scope of other internet facilities. These services are provided free of charge, and require only a very basic, inexpensive computer and modem for use.

MVCN, like DAFN, encompasses the many communities of Ohio's Miami Valley, including:

Greater Dayton, Englewood, Fairborn, Vandalia, Centerville, Beavercreek, Clayton, Huber Heights, Kettering, Liberty, Miamisburg, Moraine, Oakwood, Riverside, Shiloh, Trotwood, Union, Vandalia, West Carrollton, Middletown, Xenia, West Milton, Tipp City, Bellbrook, Enon, Yellow Springs, New Lebanon, Germantown, Farmersville, New Carlisle, Franklin, Springboro, Bellbrook, Clifton, Harrison Township, Randolph Township, Butler Township, and more.
And MVCN is still growing!

DAFN was an important community resource with great potential. Now, DAFN's legacy will continue and expand with the growth of the new Miami Valley Community Network. Join us at MVCN by visiting the new web site at http://www.mvcn.dayton.oh.us/.
