Friar's Bay Pond

This is a small pond well protected by a sand bar and mangroves. It is a naturally attractive area and the natural setting of the surrounding lands would not necessarily lend themselves to ancillary marina development.

Consequently this pond could make no more than a 'hurricane hole' of limited proportions. It is included in this survey of the ponds for the sake of completeness.

Any channel would need to be made from the SW side under the hill, seen at the top portion of this view.
