I flew F/O and let Wilbanks stay home. When we got to AMA we went to a Quiet Birdmen's "wing ding" and met Frank Hand from the FAA at GSW there. Clyde Hart (2/3/00) Eulogy John Wilson James Wright, 77, a retired airline pilot, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, in Fort Worth. John was born on Sept. 16th, 1922 in Bandera, Texas. He was a former World War II Army pilot. He was a native Texan and a devout Christian. His passion in life was to fly. He started with the Army Air Corps in 1942 and achieved the rank of 1st. Lt. He continued to fly until 1982 when he retired as Captain for Frontier Airlines. Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Bette J. Wright of Colleyville and Gregory Wright of Sacramento, Calif. Daughter Rebekah Mayer of Salt Lake City, Utah, Sister, Bobby and her husband, Clarence Simpson, of San Antonio: Eight Grand-Children: Two great-Grandchildren: Nephew, Ross Simpson of San Antonio: and Niece, Susan Simpson of San Antonio.
