BinObj a simple software for locateInteresting Binocular Objects

BINOBJ is a program for all those who use a binocular, no matter which power or aperture, to help in the research of interestingobjects in the sky.One of the problem for beginner astronomer is what to search in the sky and where is the object desidered.I think that a good star map and a list of interesting objects willhelp in the job and my software is designed for this purpose, in this alpha release only for the second target.First of all I want thank Mr. P.Harrington and his book"Touring the Universe through Binoculars". He describes in the booka very large collection of interesting objects for binocular observer, the list of over 1000 objects is avalaible on the Internet withinformation on the location and the main data of the objects.P. Harrington allowed me to use the list as the database for mysoftware. You can find the list at:http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/pharrington/sw8.htm I also want to thank Keith Burnett for his web page on "Approximate Astronomical position"http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/4749/altaz.html
Even if in the software I use Meeus Astronomical FormulaeBinobj allow the user to select objects according to magnitude, AltitudeConstellation and type of the object.Objects are presented in a grid orderd by constellation. The list can be printed and used to plan an observe session. For each object Altitude and Azimut are computed according toUniversal Time and User Location.
