Charles Pelton
(b 20 Apr 1867 d. 15 May 1967)
(Ed Pelton's brother)
Born April 20, 1867 in Maine, he had resided in Everett for the past 12 years.
A member of the John R. Thompson Camp of the Spanish American War Veterans in Tacoma. He retired from Army after 30 years of service in 1926. Mr. Pelton fought in the battle of San Juan Hill in the Spanish-american War and in the Argonne Forest during World War One.
He leaves one son, Leo Pelton of Palo, Alto, California; also many friends including Mrs. Dora McClintock of 4005 Rucker Ave. and Mr. and Mrs. Otis Metcalf of Everett; also three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services: Thursday, 1 p.m., Cypress Lawn Cemetery, arrangements under the direction of the Cassidy Funeral Home.
