Daria Morgendorffer's History

Daria started as a minor character on the really popular MTV animated show, "Beavis and Butt-Head." She was the only female at Highland High that would be seen around Beavis and Butt-Head, mostly because their antics amused her. However, Mike Judge did not create her, which is why you won’t his name listed in the credits for "Daria." She was created by Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis, who worked on "Beavis and Butt-Head." Sometime after MTV decided to cancel "Beavis and Butt-Head," Glenn and Susie pitched the idea for "Daria" to MTV Animation, and the rest is history.
