BRENDA HAMBY DAVIS Obituary Brenda Hamby Davis, 55, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at her residence. Born Feb. 24, 1945, in Knoxville, Tenn., she was the daughter of Ralph and Imodene Hamby. Her son, Bart Scott Ivey, died before her. She was a member of Combs Baptist Church and Unit 27, American Legion Auxiliary. She was a former telephone switchboard operator employed at Northwest Medical Center and Washington Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, John Davis of Fayetteville; her mother, Imodene McBroom of Nashville, Tenn.; four sons, Ronald Hamby of Nashville, Eddie Ivey of Milledgeville, Ga., Eric Davis of Jacksonville, Fla., and Christopher Davis of Springfield, Va.; two daughters, Deana Brewer of Macon, Ga., and Lori Trotter of Nashville, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.
