Frank had heart trouble and resigned as president and I became president since I was VP. He came back later then quit again with health issues. I often asked him why he didn't retire but he always had a reason to keep going. He started at the USPS on 12/1/1979 so he had 31.5 years. He had some Army time too so maybe he was trying to total 35 years service. He ws a dedicated and very conscientous union man. I always enjoyed working with him, both as a fellow worker and as a union member and official -Jake Lamkins (9/24/11)
