We hope you all had a safe and happy holiday weekend.  Thanksgiving is always a good time to consider all the good things 
in our lives, especially family and friends.

Our website has just gone over 4,000 hits.  Thanks to your help in reaching this milestone.  Very few of the other APWU 
sites have been viewed this many times.  The new "Diet Site" has been helpful to several members whose computers were slow 
to download the regular page.  

Those pesky pop up ads at the site are a nuisance.  You can get rid of them by going to http://intercantech.com and 
downloading the free utility called "Pop-Off".  It works in the background and blocks out pop-up ads such as the one 
tripod.com uses.

Christmas decorations are up at the site.  Time to get in the Holiday spirit.  The Party is one week away.  Get signed up 
if you haven't already.

Open season is here for our health plans.  There's a link in CONNECTIONS at the website for all the info you need to make 
a decision.

Did you notice the Christmas treatment given to the Razorback Scheme sign at the site?  It's the result of a  recently 
discovered free utility.

Be sure to check out the President's Page which reports on a $750 grievance settlement we just received.  We also won a 
huge settlement in the Don Wertz case whereby we won full backpay including overtime opportunities, etc.  The case against 
Don was so contrived and malicious, it gives you the shivers.  It could have been any of us instead of Don.  
THE ONLY PROTECTION WE HAVE IS OUR UNION!

Millie is preparing the December issue of the Newsletter.  If you have any contributions, she asks that she have them 
by Dec. 1st.
