The long awaited arbitration on our "casuals in lieu of" grievance
will finally be heard in a week, March 16th.  Bob Kessler, our NBA,
will argue our case.  This is the grievance filed way back in '92 or
'93 that Fayetteville management was using casuals in lieu of career
employees.  It's an on-going violation and we are hopeful justice will
be served:  make local management quit staffing with casuals on a
permanent basis and award us monetary damages for the loss of jobs and
overtime while the violations have continued.
Meantime, keep the faith!
