I know you also knew Margaret "Peg" McNutt who worked at the Post Office for many years, 
do not know whether you know or not but she is undergoing treatment for serious health problems as well.

She retired several years after I started in 1988.

I thought I would pass this along.
A friend emailed me yesterday that Margaret was "undergoing treatment for serious health problems".
She must be about 75 now.
I remember when she retired they had to put about 3 people in the office to do what she had been doing.

There was a short note in today's NWA TIMES that Margaret died Nov. 13, age 78.
She was the secretary in the front office when I started in 1988.
And she was the only one up there.
She retired a few years later.
It took about 3 people to replace her.
She was so good, very competent and SUPER helpful to all the employees
with any and all postal administative problems.
She helped me buy back my military service with a minimum of hassle.
