Cave Springs
NED LEE MITCHELL
Ned Lee Mitchell, 70, of Cave Springs died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, in Cave Springs. 
Born Aug. 17, 1931, in Stewart, Miss., he was the son of John and Adeline Campbell Mitchell. 
He retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving 20 years 
and also retired from the U.S. Post office in Fayetteville after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Wanita Lott Mitchell of Cave Springs; 
two daughters, Tacara Fields and Millie Alvis, both of Springdale; 
four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel 
in Springdale with the Rev. Glenn Trusty officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
