Labor-Management Meeting Held Friday, September 10th

Lasting less than 30 minutes, the Labor-Management Meeting in Fayetteville 
was held at Plant conference room with Linda Patrick, Postmaster; Lee 
Thompson, Plant Manager; Rick McCumber, Annex Supervisor; Vickie Alves, APWU 
Vice-Pres.; Gini Hickman, APWU Recording Sec.; and me.

Agenda items were only brought up by Union Local and included (1) traffic 
light at 15th and Morningside; (2) Training and manuals for employees; (3) 
new bulk-mail relief clerk proposal; (4) new building on northeast side of town.

Meeting was very cordial.  There was no confrontation.  Everyone was 
courteous and in agreement on most issues.  It was our purpose to maintain 
level respect so that other more controversial issues may be resolved in the future.

Next meeting was not scheduled.
