Description: Blue eyes, light hair, fair complexion, 5'5" in height.

Service: Camp Hancock GA. In 1917 Camp Jackson SC member of 322 Inf. Medical Staff, 81st Div. Feb. 1918 transferred to Air Service while in France. Served till June 15, 1919.

Acquired: 1987, PA

Duke was attached to the 103 Aero Squadron which was formed from the old Franco-American Lafayette Escadrille. Duke worked as chauffeur and mechanic, possible attached to the medical unit. The picture included with the group is that of George with his brother who served in the Navy.
