PICK UP LINES FOR SWORDWIELDERS

This page may not be suitable for kids. If you are old enough to know what a pick up line is, you are probably old enough for this page.

Remember, Fencer Girls just want to have fun...

The lines used below were blatantly borrowed from BODGER & GRIFT'S MEDIEVAL PICK UP LINES--a tres cool page. Fencer Girl chose only the ones that had to do with swords but you can find many more (some are even romantic on B & G's Page(link at the bottom of this page).

1. Would you like to come and wield my two-handed sword, milady? --Tree, High Paladin of Blarg
2. Pardon me, milady, but I heard that a broadsword is ideal for loosening a knot in a corset. And I have a VERY broad sword. --Hermitheus
3. Can I draw my sword against your wet stone? --Jack W.
4. I'm the King. Wanna play with my Excalibur? --Lady Guinevere
5. Say, Princess, I'm very good at poking people with long, pointy objects. --Dick Parker
6. Excuse me, milady, would you have a place where I could sheath my longsword? --Heather Wormer
7. Sword fighting is like_everything_else: it's all in your thrust.--Jamie Vernon
8. Pardon me, madam, but would you like to see my longsword in action? --Ron Conti
9. Hey, Princess, you wouldn't happen to know where a lonely knight could scabbard his sword, would you? --Kevin Conlon (This sounds familiar, huh? Same tune as an earlier one but different words.)
10. It's not the size of your sword but what you can do with it. --Michael Dempsey

Although they did not put it in their lists of pick up lines, Bodger and Grift said they received hundreds saying,"Is that a sword in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?"

Lines contributed by other folks. (added January 14, 1999)

1. Let me show you my grip.? Andy Brown
2. Would you help me get out of this lame? K. Campbell
3. Wow, that's some blade you've got; mind if I touch it? K. Campbell

The following lines were contributed by Chris Holmes who says to please note that these require a sordid idea of fencing terms. (added March 15, 1999)

1. Would you like me to demonstrate the speed of my fleche?
2. I have a wonderful extension which you could end up on.
3. Do you know the nature of penetration?
