GM: How old are you?
DP: I'm 21.
GM: When did you get started in pro wrestling?
DP: I debuted with Dennis Coralluzzo's NWA as a ring announcer in February of 1996. Prior to that I edited a sheet in high school ("Outside Interference"), and produced a small cable access television show with the same name in '94 and '95.
GM: What promotions do you work for and have worked for in the past?
DP: NWA (Dennis Coralluzzo - New Jersey), IWA (Ian Rotten - Kentucky), MAW (Carmine DeSpirito - Milwaukee), NSWA (Dan Curtis - Detroit), MRW (Mike Rogers - Missouri), NJCW (Charles Calhoun - New Jersey), AWC (Mike Illions - New Jersey), SCW (Norm Connors - Pittsburgh), CCW (Danny Dominion - Chicago), PWI (Sonny Rogers - Chicago), WPW (Nomit Shah & Peter Golazewski - Michigan), CWM (Scott Zeinstra - Michigan), ACW (Mike Krause - Green Bay), SPCW (Ed Hellier - Minnesota), TCW (Angel Amoroso - Philadelphia), IWAS/AAA Lucha Libre (John Arezzi - Chicago), USPW (Wil Schilling - Milwaukee), and I'm probably forgetting a few.
GM: What wrestlers do you currently manage?
DP: It varies from promotion to promotion. Within the past month, I have managed Steve Corino, Joey Matthews, Ian Rotten, "Illustrious" Johnnie Stewart, Adrian Lynch, and "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce. Others whom I occasionally manage, or formerly managed include Lance Diamond, Twiggy Ramirez, Reckless Youth, and "Dirty" Don Montoya.
GM: What got you interested in pro wrestling?
DP: I started watching the WWF when I was in junior high school. I soon began watching the NWA's tv as well, and World Class and the AWA on ESPN, and before you know it I was collecting tapes from everywhere, buying magazines, and attending shows.
GM: Since you work with the NSWA, do you know what the time frame is when they plan on reopening?
DP: The NSWA is basically dead, for all intents and purposes. Dan Curtis, who was co-owner of the NSWA, plans on re-opening the old Great Lakes Wrestling promotion with Mike Kelly and John Muse in September, running at NSWA's old home, the Wayne Ford Civic League in Westland, Michigan. I may or may not be associated with this new company.
GM: Is there any thing you would like to plug? sites, shows, etc.?
DP: I'd suggest that fans interested in independent wrestling not only attend local shows when an independent comes to town, but also browse the various web sites for independent promotions online.
