MABON

Mabon is the Autumn Equinox. It is one of two days when the sunlight is equal to the night. This one falling somewhere around September 21, depending on the year. Because of the between time, it is a time between the veils. It is a good time for divinations. It is also a harvest time. Altars are decorated with apples nuts and cornecopea, as well as, fallen leaves. Thanks are given for what was received during the year. America's Thanksgiving Day seems rather redundant to some pagans, as they celebrate several different harvests a year.
