How YOU Can Help

Making others aware of the plight of the POW/MIAs
and their families is one of the most important ways that
we can help them. Please take the time to care by doing
some of the things listed below:

Fly a POW flag at your home and/or business

Wear a POW bracelet bearing the name of one of our
       missing men

     Ask your minister/priest/rabbi/clergyman to mention
the POW/MIAs in prayers during weekly services

Write letters to the editor to your local paper about
the plight of the POW/MIAs and their families

Wear a POW/MIA pin or tie tack on your clothes

Read books, such as "Spite House" and "Kiss the Boys Goodbye" both by
Monika Jensen-Stevenson and "The Bamboo Cage" by
Nigel Cawthorne to increase your own knowledge on
       the issue

Talk to at least one person every day about this issue

Display a POW/MIA bumper sticker on your car, van,
bike, motorhome, mailbox, and home windows

Find out who your Senator and Representatives are
and write them asking what they are doing to help
get a full and truthful accounting of our POW/MIAs
(You can do this by using the Internet program
called "Zipper" which can be found on the Firebase
        Freedom Home Page)

Attend "Town Meetings" held periodically in your town
by your Congressmen and ask questions about what
he or she is doing to help our POW/MIAs

Attend POW/MIA vigils, marches and other awareness
actions, such as Rolling Thunder and Operation
Thunderstorm to show those policymakers that we
are growing in numbers and won't back off!!

Remember, only by making others aware of this issue,
do we increase the pressure on those in Washington who
have the power to bring our brothers home!
