Who is Frel?

Frel the Gnome is my first and current AD+D character. I've been playing her for almost nine months now. She is young looking, jolly and sociable.When she's not adventuring she lives in a town called Kepton in in the land of Calivia. If you ever need her, she can generally be found at the bar of the Inn she's staying in. She will have been up as long as the landlord and will be sat on a tall stool ( to make up for the lack of height!!) chatting away with him or one of the staff. They only put up with her because she pays their wages!!!

Frel had a happy childhood in a typical Gnomish village. She left home at the age of 70 to seek her fortune. After travelling around for a while she found work with traders, and soon learnt that real money was made by smuggling goods. This was generally for other people, although if she saw a nice gem, it wasn't unknown for her to smuggle it for herself! She loves gems and trinkets.

Whilst "trading" she learnt many useful skills how to value goods, and make copys of things (forgery? of course not!!!) as well as several thief skills. Frel is well knoen for riding around on a dog! It's a special "Gnomish riding dog" (like a war dog in size). She calls him simply DOGG but she thinks the world of him and everyone should have one! She gained him after a particularly special favour for a friend.

She decided to leave smuggling behind to broaden her horizons, she wanted to see more of life ( and perhaps make more money! ), doing the same thing for a long time gets boring.
