James DAVIS, a son of Daniel DAVIS and Martha Louise SPEARS, was born 19 July 1804 in Georgia. Jame DAVIS married Elizabeth WORTHY, a daughter of John G. WORTHY and Nancy SPINKS, 31 December 1829 in Copiah County MS. Elizabeth WORTHY was born 09 June 1812 in Copiah County MS. They lived in Copiah County, then moved to Hancock County MS near Picayune MS in the Caesar Community. James DAVIS died 21 August 1892, Elizabeth WORTHY Davis died 25 May 1894. They are buried in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Caesar Community, in Pearl River County, MS.
