Now here is the key to the whole mystic secret of leading a life free of the feelings of guilt and sin and the resultant multitudes of neuroses, nervous and mental and social stress and strain, disorders, anxieties, tensions, panic attacks and what not:  In the state of Self-Knowledge, there is a doing but no I that does it! Let activities go on. They do not affect the pure, changeless, eternal Self that you really are. You are not the changeable, impermanent body or mind or the intellect. Why do you think that you are active? The activities -- thinking, speaking and doing -- are not your own. They are God's activities. Is not God omnipresent, omniscient, omnificent and omnipotent? Either accept that God does everything and be at peace with yourself OR you're welcome to arrogate to yourself what is God's at your peril. Remember that God's will, not yours, always prevails. Time and space are only concepts of mind. But the Real Self lies beyond mind, time and space.When the superior man hears of the Tao, he does his best to practice it. When the middling man hears of the Tao, he sometimes keeps it, and sometimes loses it. When the inferior man hears of the Tao, he will laugh aloud at it. If he did not laugh, it would not be the Tao.
