Visit the Atomic Age

I think that all of us have to assume some responsibility for the demise of everyone’s favorite “toast-it-yourself” dining establishment. Just one additional meal a week, maybe even monthly, might have saved Ships on LaCienega. Don’t let this happen again. Scoot on over to your neighborhood coffee shop for breakfast tomorrow.

Pann's Restaurant 6710 La Tijera Blvd, Los Angeles, 310-670-1441
If time travel to the 50's sounds good to you then Pann's is the BEST. Fab sign. Great gravity-defying roof. Lots of luscious vinyl booths. My catfish dinner with spicy Louisiana sauce was yummy. Two of us had dinner, coffee and pie for $20 plus tip. The apple pie was marginal. Oh well.
