WebTV™ CMD Shortcuts
CMD + R -- This will Reload the current page.
CMD + F -- This will bring up the FIND box.
CMD + G -- After entering something in the FIND box once, this will let you search for the next occurrence of that string.
CMD + B -- This will let you look backwards for the next occurrence of that string.
CMD + Options -- Will bring up the Advanced Options if you have not already set your box to do so automatically.
CMD + CTRL -- When your highlight box is over a link, this will display the URL of the link in the status bar.
CMD + Power -- This will disconnect your box without turning it off.
CMD + Scroll Up -- Will take you to the top of the
current page.
CMD + Scroll Down -- Will take you to the bottom of the current page.
CMD + Delete -- Will delete all of the text in the line you are presently on.
CMD + <— -- Will take you to the left side of any line of text you are currently writing.
CMD + —> -- Will take you to the right of any line of text you are currently writing.
CMD + Any letter (while in a select box) -- Will
automatically scroll down the list of items to those
beginning with that letter.
CMD + P (only when the printer adaptor is connected) -- Will bring up the Printing Options Window.
CMD + W (only for WebTV™ Plus) -- Will bring up the TV PIP.
CMD + M (only for the WebTV™ Plus) -- Will move pip windowfrom right to left & from left to right
Other WebTV Key Shortcuts
CTRL + M -- Serves the same function as hitting return while over a link.
EDIT -- While over a text box, this will activate your cursor, letting you write.
TAB -- Will take you to the next link and if it is a text will activate your cursor.
SHIFT + Tab -- Will take you to the previous link and if it is a text box will activate your cursor.
ESC -- Will take you out of most pop-up boxes.
ALT + Most letter and number keys. -- Allows you to type special characters.
ALT + Shift + Most letter or number keys. -- Allows you to type from another set of special characters.

Power on.
This will take you to your information page.

***Phone settings
Press options 3 times and enter 217
Power on
This will take you to your Phone settings page.
You can turn off or on your call waiting and reset is here too.
***Cut & Paste:
CMD and "a" highlights text.
CMD and "x" cuts text.
CMD and "c" copys text.
CMD and "v" pastestext.
***BOUNCING YOUR E-MAIL:
Bouncing Email and Newsgroup Post Codes with Webtv
You no longer have to bounce mail off of an unknown username on some server somewhere (which costs them money).
- :) While viewing the email you want the html codes from press "forward" on the sidebar. While viewing a post press send/forward.
- :) Scroll down to the "TO:" line and enter your email address.
- :) Erase the Subject line.
- :) Scroll down to the top left corner of the body/text area of your email. IE. The text area of your email box.
- :) Press return/enter two times.
- :) Press alt z.
Looks like §
- :) Press cmd a.
- :) Press cmd x.
- :) Scroll up to the subject line and press cmd v.
- :) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and press Send. You will get a return email with all the coding on it.
