-Acclaim fully intends to release a sequel to its popular 3D shooter South Park for Nintendo 64 early next year. -Prima's official Nintendo endorsed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time strategy guide is apparently selling so well that it his blasted into USA Today's top 100 best selling book list at number 80. -Acclaim's company CEO Greg Fischbach nondiscretely confirmed that it isworking on a sequel to its popular 3D shooter, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. Acclaim plans to ship Turok 3 in time for the '99 holiday season. -MGM formally announced the title for its next James Bond movie, James Bond 19: The World is Not Enough. Some insiders have posted that Nintendo has picked up the N64 rights and has enlisted Rare to create a GoldenEye 2 of sorts. -Capcom's Yoshiki Okamoto finally admits to working on an N64 version of BioHazard, known as Resident Evil outside of Japan. -Acclaim recently announced that Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees has signed an exclusive endorsement deal for All-Star Baseball 2000. -The first ever Donkey Kong 64 screen shot has been revealed, from the pic a few things are known, Diddy, Kremlings, and a mine level. - Nintendo has decided to continue its popular Griffey franchise with Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball 2. One improvement, for sure, is the high resolution mode available to those that own a RAM Expansion pak. - Iguana Entertainment UK has already dropped hints about a sequel to the upcoming action adventure, Shadow Man. - Konami of America has cancelled one of its Nintendo 64 projects, the US-developed Survivor: Day One. -Electronic Arts has officially announced its intentions to bring a version of its classic baseball series, Triple Play to Nintendo 64.

-Namco will release the sequel to Point Blank sometime this spring. The game will be packaged in two versions: one by itself and one with the GunCon. - Square Soft has announced its intention to release, on March 11, the Final Fantasy Collection in Japan. The three-CD, comprising Final Fantasy 4, 5, and 6, has already been rated 54 out of 60 points by a panel of six Weekly Famitsu reviewers (Zelda 64 received 60 out of 60). -Lunar: Complete is still without a firm release date, a suggested first quarter release still looks likely though. Here's a glimpse of its cover art. -Due in late April/early May, Driver (by Reflections, recently acquired by GT Interactive) is meant to re-create the hottest car chases from the movies in the '70s in Miami, LA, New York, and San Francisco. -Final Fantasy 8 is a bit over a month away for its release date in Japan. Designed specifically for use on G3-powered Macintosh systems, including Apple's hot new iMac, it has premiered at $49.95 and is currently available only at Macworld Expo. -Hello Kitty and all her Sanrio buddies are coming to US PlayStations in a new puzzle game. It has a suggested retail price of $44.99. It is scheduled to arrive later this month.
