My mother passed away almost three years ago. A few weeks after she had  passed on, I was sitting in my living room watching TV in the afternoon.  I was having a hard time accepting my mothers death and was feeling bad, when the phone rang. I went to the phone and checked the caller ID, but  there was no number registering, so I picked up the phone and said  hello, it was very staticy and I couldn't hear anything, I kept saying  hello over and over, and finally decided it was a bad connection and was  about to hang up when all of the sudden the static stopped, and it got  very quiet and I heard my mothers voice say as plain as day," I didn't  leave you. Beth, I'll never leave you"! Then there was nothing. As you  can imagine, I was in shock! About a week later I was in the bathroom and I was crying and looking in the mirror, and I suddenly felt someone  stroking and playing with my hair. As I looked in the mirror, I couldn't see my hair move, but I could feel it, then all of the sudden I  heard my mothers voice in my ear say, "You are so beautiful". Since  then I have had several dreams of her where she comes to me and talks to me. I no longer mourn my mother, as I know she is truly still with me.
