My Colonial Inn experience:

Four of my friends and I stayed at the Colonial Inn in Concord for a weekend almost a year ago. My sister and I roomed together. We came in on a Friday night. Early Saturday morning I woke and felt a presence near the right of my bed. As I turned my head to look I could actually see a dark shadow standing right next to my bed. I pulled the covers over my head and debated whether or not to wake my sister. The next night we took the Concord Ghost Tour. As we walked around the corner to the Inn the guide was telling us Room 24 of the Inn was haunted. Well I'm thinking we are fine because we are upstairs and Room 24 has to be downstairs. Well the guide pointed to the second floor of the Inn to the corner room which so happened to be RIGHT NEXT TO OUR ROOM. On Sunday morning as I was walking down the hallway before our room and next to Room 24 I thought another guest had come out of a room and was walking in back of me. I turned around to see the same similar shadow I had seen in my room early Saturday morning. Before the Ghost Tour I had no idea this Inn was haunted. If I knew about the haunting and saw the "shadow man" I probably would have gotten out of bed and gone screaming down Main Street of Concord. Not a pretty sight!
