Rescue Pals

These are my pals, my rescue pals that have been rescued from homes just like me. They are my special friends.

Dumpling and YoYo were rescued in Texas. They now have a wonderful new home. Dumpling had a bad case of Heartworms when she first went to her new home and had never been given any shots. YoYo was a suspected "puppy mill stud". He was never nuetered and has a lot of health problems. They both are grateful to have been found by their mommy who spoils them rotton.Dumpling and YoYo

Oliver Ollie was found walking the streets of downtown Phoenix having apparently been on his own for some time. He was flown from Arizona to New York to live with his new family. When he arrived, he was in good health other then being extremely thin (even after gaining several pounds at the Great Arizona Pug Rescue). He has since been fattened up a bit. He is thriving in his new home where he is adored, pampered and, more importantly, safe, and lives the life a pug ought to, a life meant for a king.

Maggie May was not supposed to be a rescue pug. Her new owners were expecting a healthy 9 month old pug. She was given away because she could not be bred by her breeder cause she carried a gene that caused mange. When she arrived in Iowa she weighed only 9lbs. She also is blind in one eye. She also had to have surgery for stenotic nares. She is considered a rescue pug now and is now happy and healthy in her new home.Maggie May

LeoLeo was in need of a good home when his mom rescued him. She didn't realize what a gold mine she had found when she first brought him home. You see Leo, is now a super star on the internet. Just look at that face and you can see why! Leo had to have surgery for he could barely breathe when he first was adopted. He had surgery for he had stenotic nares, elongated soft palate and everted laryngeal saccule. You can read all about it on his webpage.

Phoebe was a little girl in need of a home. You see her owners got tired of her and didn't want her anymore. She was adopted into a home and now has two pug brothers and a wonderful mom and dad. One of her brothers is the famous internet superstar Leo. Phoebe is so happy and thriving in her new home.Phoebe

MuffinMuffin found her new home in the knick of time. She had been terribly abused, so abused that her jaw was broken and her tongue now hangs out of her mouth. Muffin is now in a home where she is so loved and spoiled. She was one of the lucky ones.

Little Bobber was about to be taken to the pound when he was rescued. His family didn't have the time for him anymore. He was only a little puppy when he was adopted. He has been adopted in a dog loving family for sure. He has many dog "Nieces and Nephews" including three pugs (Phoebe and Leo included).Little Bobber

ethelEthel was one lucky girl to have been rescued. You see nobody wanted her cause she could not walk. She had a really bad case of "Luxating Pattella". She had to have a couple of very expensive surgerys to walk. Now she is as good as new and can run like the wind. She also is a well known at Pug Hill. She goes there often with her sister Wilma.
