Peak Schutzhund Club

This is the offical Web Site for the Peak Schutzhund Club, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On this site you will find information on the club, the members, the dogs, and the sport of Schutzhund. The Peak Schutzhund Club is a member of the DVG which is an all breed dog sport club.

What is Schutzhund?

Schutzhund is one of the newest forms of dog work in the U.S. which has enjoyed popularity in Europe for many years. Schutzhund work involves training in three phases-Tracking, Obedience, and Protection. Schutzhund I is the most elementary title awarded, and Schutzhund III demands the most challenging level of performance.

Club Mission:

The goal of the Peak Schutzhund Club is to assist its members in obtaining titles for their dogs and to have fun. All members are dedicated to helping each other reach their fullest potential in the sport.
