Glock Facts

In my opinion Glocks are by far the best handguns on earth. They are extremely versatile, easy to use, reliable, and shoot great! The simplicity of Glocks is what makes them perfect. They don't have a lot of parts, which makes it easy to clean them, and less chances of malfunctions. If you haven't shot a Glock before, you need to try, and you'll see why I think they are the best!

Glocks have what is called a "Safe-Action Trigger", which is a series of safeties installed in the trigger mechanism. First, there is a double trigger on the Glock that will only allow the trigger to be pulled if the first is engaged. Second, the gun is not cocked until the trigger is depressed, pushing on the spring. Third, there is a firing pin safety that blocks the firing pin in case the weapon is dropped or jolted.

Glock frames are made from a nearly indestructible high-impact polymer that is synthetic. The polymer is actually stronger than steel, but 86% lighter. It is totally resistant to sweat, sand, heat and cold, even salt-water!

The slide on Glocks is made out of metal, and it is finished with a unique non-glare matte surface treatment called Tenifer that makes it nearly as strong as a diamond. It also makes it resistant to sweat and salt-water. The slide on Glocks is more corrosion resistant that stainless steel!
