Notes for #13 Burrell Perry:
The court records of Coffee County TN law suit in 1877
list the following children: Calvin, Benjamin, Isham,
Amanda, Jane and John. However 1850 and 1860 census
records show the following additional names: Bunwell,
Mary, Clementine, Ardenia as well as excluding the name
of JANE. It is possible that Jane was a nickname for
one of the daughters.

I have seen several posts for Willis Privett. There are
several Willises, of course but found this yesterday
at Archives in Raleigh and thought I would post:Tennessee
Divorces: 1797-1858 "Privett, Willis" 5 November 1827
Smith County Willis Privett was married in December 1824
in Wake County, North Carolina to Delila Perry. They lived
together happily for two years. At the end of two years
and some before, she began asking him to move to the Western
country, suggesting that her mother had moved to Virginia,
that her brother had moved to Tennessee and that since they
were poor, by moving they might better themselves. Last
February (1827) they arrived in Smith County in the same
neighborhood as her brother, Burrell Perry, and his family.
They lived with Burrell but Willis soon found his brother-
in-law to be devoted to an idle man named John Boze. Delila
ran off with boze and lives with him. Petition includes
signatures of 5 neighbors who say they have known Willis
Privett 9 or 10 months."
