James Perry, son of Capt. John (Thicket) Perry and Elizabeth 
(Betsy) Boddie, made his will dated November 14, 1844. Recorded 
in Will Book L, page 251, Franklin County, NC.  He names wife 
Sarah;  sons Burwell and Allison Perry;   daughters Roeny Pierce 
and Charlotte Pierce.  Executors:  sons Burwell and  Allison Perry.  
Witnesses: Wesley Hartsfield, Kindred T. Perry, Drury Denton.

Buried in McAdams Cemetery, about 12 miles west of Huntsville, 
TX, between  Crabbs Prairie and Bedias, TX.  A flat tombstone 
at the gravesite reads:  "Burrell Bird Perry, Co. H., 20 Regt, 
Texas Inf., CSA, Feb. 22, 1830, Apr. 14, 1909.
