From the High Seat

This course is designed for both the beginner and the serious practitioner alike. It's aim is to enlighten and to remind all those who profess to practice the FAITH of ASA-TRU. It's goal is to instill in all, the fact that ASATRU is a religious faith and not a political enterprise. Nor is it a tool to be utilized for one's own personal glory or egotistical craving for power and/or control. It is also for those of us that sometimes need that friendly reminder of who and what we truly are. So sharpen those pencils and take notes. In the end, there will be a test!

ASATRU is the ethnic RELIGIOUS FAITH of our Folk, based apon the beliefs and traditions of our ancestors.

Repeat these words as often as it takes for them to sink in. For some, this alone may require a life time of work.

These are the NINE NOBLE VIRTUES of ASATRU. They are a simple, basic, self-explanatory, definition of our FOLK SOUL. They are the IDEALS apon which ASATRU is based.

This is the most difficult part of the course. This requires the participant to do more then just repeat the words. You are required to actually implement them as a part of your very existence. For some this may prove to be too difficult a task and so I suggest to them that they may wish to rethink their choice of religious faiths at this time.

If you have mastered Lessons #1 and #2 then these should prove to be easiest part of the course to assimilate and implement.
