Happy Holidays from all of us at Hanover Technical Sales.
We exist to serve you. Thanks for allowing us … and have a great 2008!
Hanover will be closed from Christmas Eve Day thru the Day After Christmas, ie Dec. 24 thru Dec. 26th. Our employees richly deserve that time off, and we're happy they time to enjoy visiting with family and friends.
We will be open for business on December 29, 30, and in the morning on December 31, New Years Eve. We will close at noon on December 31. We will reopen for business as usual on Friday, January 2. Hope to hear from you soon ... and often!

Hanover is participating in the Relay for Life effort at Dominion Virginia Power's Surry Nuclear Power Station by offering modest matching funds for ALL contributions made directly by the station employees (up to a limit, of course!). We urge every company to support the Relay for Life in your area. It's a cause we can live with!

Email Issues - We had unresolveable problems getting emails that were addressed to our @empowercompany.com addresses. NameSecure finally had to throw their hands up and said "uncle". Please use our hanover@visi.net address for all email correspondence.

Thanks to Verizon cutting thru it's own fiber optic cable earlier today, we were without phone, fax, modem and DSL service for about half a day or more. Can you hear me now?

IN MEMORIAM - ROGER CHABLOZ
Don Lovett worked for Roger but for a brief time while at American High Voltage Test Systems. Roger, President of American, was a good man and a better administrator. He will be missed by all who knew him!

Down but not out - On Sept. 1, 2006 Tropical Storm Ernesto took down the power system in our area. 10 inches of rain fell. The winds blew branches and a few trees hither. Roads were flooded. One of our staff was rear-ended just down the road (unhurt, thankfully) But, thanks to a strong battery (no pun intended) of UPS systems and a barely adequate standby generator, we stayed up and running all day long. ALL orders that were phoned or faxed or emailed to us were processed and made it out the door that day! And we now have a more robust (not our favorite word, but appropriate) UPS system and a new and bigger generator now, too. We're here for you. Thanks for your patience with us on that somewhat trying day!
