PLEASE
HELP!!!Info about
'Bells Palsy'
is Needed.
Is there anyone out there who can help me with information about BELLS PALSY. My 5 yearold daughter Harlee was diagnosed with Bells Palsy the first day she started school. It has affected the right side of her face. Harlee is our baby. She has an older brother who is 10, and two sisters who are 12 and 14. We have had Harlee to two speacialists who she is seeing once a week. Unfortunately, there haven't been many cases of Bells Palsy reported in New Zealand, and only two cases as young as Harlee. The other case was a 3 year old boy. Normally people with Bells Palsy have the herpes blisters in their ear canal, but Harlee doesn't have the herpes blisters. Her ear canal is clear. I would be grateful for any information about Bells Palsy. I would love to hear from anyone out there who may have a child of similar age who also suffers from this unusual disease. Harlee would love to hear from any kids with Bells Palsy. Harlee still goes to school and it doesn't seem to bother her too much. I know some of the kids at school have laughed at her but she just shrugs it off. It would be good for her to know that there are other kids with the same disease as her.
