Hatgirl's Memories Of Space Camp

Hello Everyone if you have been to my other page you probably noticed it Was mainly about me and my friends and general stuff. Anyway about a year ago I went to Space Camp with my cousin, but we are more like bestfriends, or in other words we are really close. She was in Florida with me at my house for about a week or two, then my parents drove us 2 the camp. We went in to the registration and did all that stuff at the begining we didn't notice anyone from our team, which was Mars If I didn't mention. But we noticed 2 people who obviously came together these 2 people were Matt & his bestfriend Nathan. We talked to them a little, & then my parents took us to our dorms where we had to put all our stuff in our lockers and everything. We saw someone had already put her stuff down and claimed a top bunk. Well I guess its first come first serve, (I HATE THAT LINE) LOL! When we went around to see what the place looked liked We met one of our teammates, Andrea, who had really preety black hair which was put in a french braid. We talked and decided that Sara would take the top of the other bunk and i took the bottom of the same bunk, and Andrea would eake the the bottom of the other one. We made the beds and everything then the three of us and our parents went downstairs to meet the rest of our teammates and our team leader, Jon, who was awesome!! Well, he gave us hats & log books. We were supposed to write down what we were doing each day which he would tell at the begining of each day. We talked and said our names and where we were from and what we liked you know what I mean. We ate dinner in the cafeteria and all us girls Sara, Andrea Lindsey, & me sat at a table and ate since there were only 4 of us. There were I think 8 boys! So they all sat in a booth thing. We all got our food and after dinner we went back to the dorms to meet some people from the other teams and we also met our night counselours who were: Sarah and Robin. Then after we got situated we went down stairs for Strange Science, It was really fun because they showed us these really cool experiments and sometimes asked volunteers for some. Anyway around 10:00pm we had to go back to our dorms. The first night no one could sleep. It took us forever to get to sleep Sarah & Robin would come in and tell all of us (ALL OF US MEANING GIRLS FROM MARS JUPITER AND SOME OTHER TEAMS) To go to sleep. Anyway that is beside the point don't ya think? Anyway the next day We Woke up and met the boys & we went and got our plan for the day, which was at 9AM we would go & do a lab but before all that we had breakfast & at 10AM we would go 2 the pool, which we didnt get 2 do cause we forgot our suits (DAMN)!!! At 11AM we practiced 4 THE DISCOVERY MISSION & We also got roles for the mission, mine was..............MISSION SCIENTIST.. & SARA was THE GROUND CONTROL OFFICER which was a great position for her... Matt was THE FLIGHT DIRECTOR Nathan & Andrea were THE MISSION SPECIALITS ON THE FLIGHT CREW..AND LINDSEY ..She was THE COMMANDER. We went over our scripts for that... & went 4 Lunch & took our group pictures & at 2PM we went for our ROCKET CONSTRUCTION in which we created our SPACE STATION which we did 4 a few days & than we did the same thing we did for DISCOVERY with our ENDEVEOR MISSION in which I was the Pilot, Sara Andrea and Kyle were the Payload Specialists & Matt & Eric were THE MISSION SPECIALISTS & Lindsey was THE MISSION SPECIALIST & Nathan was the FLIGHT DIRECTOR Than we went on THE 5DF CHAIR which was sooo much fun & U CAN GO UPIDE DOWN AND GOD IT WAS SO FUN!!!... Than a Shuttle Orientation and than dinner.... than we just got 2 talk for a while than went 2 sleep. One of the nights which one i am not sure which but we went on the roof of the dorms at around 11pm and watched A ROCKET LAUNCH... IT WAS REALLY COOL!!!
