So, you want to know more about me?

I'm flattered!

There's not too much to tell really.

I'm just a normal girl.

I love my life and almost all of the people in it.

So what about me?

Well, I could write a book about my interests alone!

Currently, I am looking for a position on a breeding farm or

ranch.

I want to work as a groom, excercise rider, doing just about

anything as long as it involves horses.

Yes, horses are the center of my life, and what I want to base

my career on.

They aren't the only thing in my life, just the center of

my attention for now :-)

I want to work on a farm for a few years to gain experience.

I also want to campaign to stop horse

slaughter in America.

I want to start a small breeding operation

for Arabian and Friesan horses.

And a rescue agency for all types of horses

and animals.

I'd like to get some experience as a zoo keeper as well,

preferably in the marine department.

And, work part time as a vet's assistant.

Where? I don't know where I'll end up.

Probably stay out west, around Idaho or Wyoming.

I have a passion for travel, and would like to see

Europe someday.

I'm not really sure in what order all of that will

take place yet :-)

None of those plans are just hopeless dreams to me.

They are all truly plans.

I have the desire and ambition to put them

all into action.

And I will someday. As soon as I decide exactly where I'm

going to start, and as soon as I find a position.

Well, all of that is future for the moment.

What about the present?

I am currently working as a CNA in a nursing home.

I love the work, though it can be hard at times.

The people are wonderful,

and I love most all of them!

Nursing, however, is not my calling.

This is a temporary job.

Also, I keep busy working with the horses.

I love riding. I love training. I even love cleaning

the barn!

I just love horses.

They are my passion.

Wherever I go, I know I'll always have horses around me.

That's one of the definites about my life.

I have many side interests.

Most I have already listed.

But I also love swimming, hiking, camping, fishing,

computers, internet, meeting new people, travel,

friends, architecture,

my family, and anything to do with animals.

I'm interested in endangered species as well,

protecting them and their habitats.

We only have one earth, and the original, natural

side of it is fast disappearing.

I'm not an extremist, just a concerned nature lover.

I think we should preserve what we have.

I will also be helping in waging the battle against

the coal companies in

West Virginia and other states concerning

mountain top removal.

Basically, my life centers around my natural world.

Nature, animals, that's my life.

But, I am not only focusing on that.

I want to marry and have a family someday :-)

Want to raise a few kids, teach them about their earth,

give them the love of animals that I have instilled

in me so deeply.

I don't know where this passion of mine for animals

and the earth came from.

Maybe from my farmer-grandparents.

They lived off the land.

Maybe I'm just old-fashioned.

Maybe I'm a traditionalist.

I rightfully should have been living a hundred years ago :-)

I love studying about the Civil War, history, geography.

Though I at one time hated geography, I'm becoming

increasingly interested.

Don't give me any algebra problems please ;-)

Well, that's a summary of me.

If you've even read this far,

I must say you are a rare person :-)

And thank you for your interest.

I hope I haven't bored you too much.

Thanks for dropping in and taking

the time to get to know me better!

~Heidi~
