| My hubby took these pics - sorry they're a little fuzzy. But some show that Rio is rounding and bringing her legs up nicely. Jumps are 2'0 and 2'3" oxers, a little small to get wonderful form for a 16.2 hh TB. These pics are from our pre-primary classes where Rio took high point champion. We only received one blue, but we got a lot of seconds and were most consistent overall. |
The last pic of Rio turning at the canter is just after I got her gallop under control. After our last over fences class (it was the equitation one), Rio decided to try taking off at the gallop. The center of gravity dropped and she dug in. I just sat back and asked her to turn - our closing circle was half of the arena. But Rio listened and came right down to a walk by the end of the circle. LOL. Love the pelham! |
