Day 2: Rio, me and hubby. |
Day 2: Trying not to lean around the corner, but not succeeding. |
Day 2: Rio was definitely the better half of our partnership today. |
Day 2: The equitation on the flat class. I think this is supposed to be the canter - Rio was very, very tense during this class. |
Day 1: My timing was off, but Rio jumped beautifully. |
Day 1: I just can't believe how high her butt is on landing. I don't feel it in the air. |
Day 1: The Pre-Primary hunter hunder saddle class that Rio won. |
Day 2: Again, Rio carries me to the fences. She is a very, very honest horse. |
Day 2: This was the worst fence I had. When I landed, I was on her neck. This was in the warm-up of Day 2 (first jumping class of the day) and Rio jumped me way out of the saddle. We circled so I could reorganize myself. This is the reason I'm now doing no stirrup work every single time I ride. |
Day 2: Finally a good picture of Rio jumping. Rio won second in this hunter over fences class. |
Day 2: Another good jumping picture of Rio. |
Day 2: The equitation on the flat class again. You can see Rio's quite tense by how bunched up she is. Rio wanted to canter-on in this class. |
