Madeline's Torture Tactics: Lesson One
By:  Stephanie

Madeline opened the door with a flourish. She was in a mischievous mood, a bad thing for her victim. Ready to have a little fun.

The man who sat before her was in his late thirties, dark hair and dark blue eyes. Standing he would have been tall, about six foot four. He had three children and a profession titled "experienced terrorist". Oh yes. This WAS going to be fun.

"Hello Mr. Linell. What I want to know is simple. Just the facts. Tell me where you are to meet your contact and I will make your death painless. The alternative is not pleasant, I can assure you." Madeline maintained eye contact with the man as she outlined his choice. He swallowed. Blinked. And shook his head. Madeline sighed.

"As you wish." She opened the heavy door and leaned into the hallway, retrieving the small package that lay against the wall. Coming back into the room, she closed the door behind her. This was horrid. Even for her.

Andrew Linell closed his eyes in despair. A pounding was beginning to edge it's way into his temple. It was a deafening sound. The mechanical voice played over and over, rigged by some wiring corrections. The little doll stared at him from it's position across the room.

"Te he he, that tickles. Te he he, that's tickles. Te he he. . ." Andrew stared at the Tickle Me Elmo with rage. How could he shut it up? He was going mad!

Madeline walked in with a satisfied smile. The Elmo doll was still playing.

"Te he he, that tickles. Te he he, that tickles. Te he he, that tickles.."

Madeline watched the man as he struggled against the urge to tell. He was losing. She placed another doll on the floor next to the first. An echo began in the room.

"Te he he, that tickles. Te he he, that tickles. Te he he. . ." It sounded like eight little dolls screaming. The sound was ear splitting. And annoying beyond comprehension.

"STOP!!!!!!! STOP!!!!!!!!" Andrew finally gave in. The woman had won.

Madeline shut off both dolls by way of remote control. Smiling, she stared at him expectantly. He told her everything.
