Mission Park Cemetery off of South West Military Dr. is home to one such spirit: The Seven Foot Tall Chinese Woman. Legend has it that the unusually tall Chinese Woman killed herself after the mental anguish of being constantly belittled because of her stature. Her punishment for taking her life would be to spend an eternity wandering the lonely graveyard at night. An unknown admirer of the woman would bring flowers to her grave, but that ceased when the man died. The sorrowful spirit of the Chinese woman can be seen wandering the Mission Park Cemetery in search of the only admirer she ever had.
