Jesse Camp is the newest VJ on MTV. He was elected April 18th by viewers after this long-ass four hour contest thing. He almost lost to this Dave guy but luckily he didn't. Everybody at MTV freakin' loves him and how could they not? He's probably the nicest guy on MTV right now. The coolest too.
He is 18, and from New York City. Supposedly he lives on the floor of his sister's best friend's apartment er something and is going to buy a water bed with the money MTV gave him. Water bed's are cool! Sometime after winning he supposedly said, "I'm really happy to be here, walkin' and talkin' 'bout rock'n'roll."

A Description
Jesse is very very tall with long legs and a very skinny torso. He's really really skinny in a gangly way. He has BIG hair which he sprays everywhere to make a cool kinda 'do. He often wears huge-ass bell bottoms and tight shirts and a cool white belt. During the full day Saturday taping he had a cool orange purse and a really nice green scarf. He should wear those again I think.
What Jesse has done so far!!
Yes, yes, it is true-thankfully. Jesse is co-hosting MTV Live with Carson. Everyday at 6pm Eastern Standard Time, you can watch Jesse flip out for an entire hour and amuse the entire cast and crew of MTV Live. The funniest part is just watching Carson's reaction to everything Jesse does. In my opinion anyway.
THE FIRST DAY
The first day co-hosting, was what one may call a sort of "warm up day". The show was opened with Jesse singing and Carson playing an acoustic guitar. Carson can play the guitar quite well and Jesse is a great singer! He sounds uncannily similar to the seagull in the movie "The Little Mermaid". They also closed the show singing and playing. I was impressed, as I'm sure every viewer was, with Jesse's abilities to come up with amazing lyrics off the top of his head. I have heard the talent may be shamelessly capitalized in a remix song with Sean "Puffy" Combs. Other wise known as Puff Daddy or that guy who will not go away. Anyway, Jesse basically sat around and talked with Carson for a while. Then Lenny Kravitz came on! That was pretty cool. He and Jesse seemed to hit it off. He gave Jesse some really cool huge-ass sunglasses. Oh yeah! Jesse also wore his cool jeans and white belt! He has worn that every day he has been on, I believe. But he wore a different shirt, so all you neat-freaks out there can chill out. He also wore a very nice feather boa.
Anyway, then some guy from that Buffy and the Vampire Slayer show came on. Jesse was being really cool and nice to him but i don't think he liked Jesse very much. Well, the world has to have it's own share of dumbasses, right?
The most interesting part of the entire show, to me anyway, was when Jesse ate a banana. I do not know why, but that was cool. He had two but he only ate one during the show. And that was about it for that show.
THE SECOND SHOW!!
The second day of Jesse co-hosting, which would be today, he was not actually in the studio. Carson seemed to think that it would be unendingly hilarious if he put Jesse on the streets of New York City to mingle with the people. I have to give Carson that he knows how to make interesting situations! Jesse traveled to an electronics store and pizza store. He also gave out a lot of free stuff. His earpiece broke down so that he couldn't hear Carson but that just made it for all the more funnier. I have to admit that I didn't notice what he was wearing. I am sorry.
RUMOURS ON MTV!
On MTV, Carson and Kurt Loder were talking and they said Jesse has a manager and a bunch of his own "people". Isn't that impressive! One day on the set and he's already got people! He also has a modeling contract!! We can all understand that huh! And there is also the rumour that he is making a remix with Puff Daddy. Remember people, these are things they said on MTV, they may be true, they may be not. I didn't say them.
