The Water Lily is a plant that can only live in water. It floats on top of the water while a stem goes deep into the water. Through the stem, the plant recieves its food and water.

Orchid

Orchid is a common name for any of a world-wide group of flowering plants. Although Orchids can be found all over the world, there are more species of them in the rainforest than in any other biome. Since the most species are found in the rainforest, which are still very unexplored, biologists have not yet identifyed all of the species. However, they estimate that there are 15,000 to 25,00 species of the Orchid. All Orchids grow on stalks stalks called pedicels. During the growth of the flower, the pedicel rotates 180*. This causes the mature flower to be grown upside-down.
