Perception is a major category under Social Psychology.
Social Psychology:
Emphasis & explain on prejudice, thoughts, feelings, peer pressure,
and the way people process information about themselves and others.
Social Cognition:
It foucsed on how we preceive/store/retrieve information about social
interactions and events. (It is also a subarea of social psychology).
Example: The changes in children's relationship as they understand
themselves and others.
Perception: Interpretations rather than exact copies of
reality, which may be changed/biased by personal experiences.
