Update--- Hope you catched some of the MTV video music awards! It was great. Some surprises here and there. There were many great performances including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera featuring Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, NSync and Eminem, who also walked away with an award. Other artists who grabbed an award were Limp Bizkit, NSync, Blink 182, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jennifer Lopez, Dr. Dre and some others.

Unofficial Bio---

Emilio D. Estevez was born May the 12, 1962 in New York City, New York. Emilio is the oldest of four children born to actor Martin Sheen; Charlie Sheen (Carlos), Ramon Estevez, and Renee Estevez. Emilio's family moved to Malibu, CA, when he was seven (Emilio currently ownes a house there). Emilio began concentrating on acting in highschool, when he decided against sports. He chose to keep the family name (Estevez) instead of his father's professional name (Sheen). Emilio actually started his acting career when he was in his late teens.

In 1982, at the age of 20, Emilio made his big screen debut in the film "Tex" (based on a novel written by S.E. Hinton) alongside Matt Dillon. In 1984, Emilio became even more popular with the film "Repo Man", a science fiction film. In 1996, Emilio starred in "The War at Home". The movie portrayed a young, Vietnam veteran, returning home but finding it hard to cope with the effects of war. The film also stars Oscar winner, Kathy Bates, and Emilio's father, Martin Sheen.

Emilio has not only become a wonderful, and well-known actor, but he is also known for writting, and directing some of his films. Such as "Wisdom", co-starring actress Demi Moore, whom he also dated. Emilio was also married to singer, Paula Abdul, for two years. They divorced in 1994. From a relationship with ex-girlfriend, Carey Salley, Emilio now has two children: Taylor Levi (age 13) and Paloma (age 12). Emilio is now dating assistant art director, Julie Briggs, for two years. The Estevez/Sheen family has become known as one of the most famous acting familes ever to appear in film. :)
