Back awile ago there was the original "The World's Most Boring Webpage" at the address of "https://members.tripod.com/~Homer5/index.html". It's mission was to prove that even the world's most boring webpage could get 1000 hits. It did this, ending up with about 1300 hits. I then started to screw around with it trying to put advertisements in it, but the HTML messed up and I had to kill it.
