From Dusk 'Till Dawn

Tarantino. Vampires. Mexico. Strippers. Guns. Gore. Violence.

Of course, that's just my opinion.

Well, to be a little more specific, I'll summarize the movie for any of you who haven't seen it yet. George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino play Seth and Richie Gecko, two outlaws on the run for the Mexican border. Aside from the opening liquor store robbery in the beginning, the movie gets off to a long, slow start, introducing us the characters. Seth (Clooney) is the calm, collected of the two, while Richie (Tarantino) is the edgy, trigger-happy sex-offender. The movie picks up after the brothers take a family hostage (Harvey Keitel and Juliette Lewis), and arrive across the border to a seedy Mexican bar called the Titty Twister. The whole bunch begin to kick back and enjoy the dancing and music, until they soon find out that the bar is run by a bunch of nasty vamps (personally, I liked Salma better BEFORE she turned into a vampire). Seth and the family (Richie got bit, and was put down sometime during the fray by Seth) must put aside their differences if they want to get out of the bar alive...yadda yadda yadda, and the rest is pretty predictable stuff. The movie does have it's share of choice one liners and nutty dialogue (although I still think Sex Machine's crotch gun was the highlight of the film).
